Experience a magical hike through the snowy winter landscape of the Hunsrück, leading you to the festively illuminated Geierlay Suspension Bridge! On this special weekend, the bridge shines in a sparkling Christmas glow, illuminated by over 7000 LEDs that brighten the evening sky.
During the hike, you will walk through the winter forest away from the hustle and bustle, with beautiful views of the illuminated suspension bridge. At the bridgehead on the Mörsdorf side, you can enjoy the light magic of the Geierlights at a small festival with a mulled wine stand and let the moment fully sink in. Afterwards, we will hike back together to the starting point Parking Lot 1 - however, you are free to stay longer at the Geierlights and admire the lights even more.
This winter hike offers the perfect mix of nature experience, Christmas atmosphere, and sociable togetherness. Join us and experience the Geierlights in all their glory!
